Department is carrying out the restoration & conservation of Amber Palace under the patronage of Amber Development & Management Authority.

Final report on conservation & development of Amber palace complex has already been received and Amber Development and Management Authority has also been got Registered under Societies Act. The conservation  works are in progress.

DPR for Hawa Mahal& Jantar - Mantar (observatory) have been received and the above works are in progress under auspices of Raj. State Museums & Monuments Management & the Development Society.

The department has taken up the enormous task of documentation of 77000 antiquities, artifacts etc, displayed and stored in the 19 museums, Out of which 75,000 objects have been documented. This work has been taken up for the first time in India and is going to be a milestone in the field of art, culture and research.

60 Monuments owned by the Department have been identified for inclusion in the Adopt-a-Monument Scheme.
 

More than 50 Monuments through out Rajasthan have been identified for Restoration work under 12th Finance Commission
